Just watched ‘Melancholia’ for the first time. What a beautifully depressing yet profound film. Definitely was not expecting all that when I was choosing my usual nightly Netflix film. I guess I should have since it is coming from cinematic artist Lars Von Trier. And that opening scene. Just wow.
